Profit Through Knowledge, Inc., nfp is a not-for-profit corporation. In 2005, PTK was created for the purpose of providing charitable, socially conscious programs and activities. Our efforts are aimed toward underserved youth, families, and individuals in the northwest suburban areas of Chicago. The programs and activities focus on helping the community members to increase their academic achievement; sustain mental/physical health and wellness; improve economic conditions; and enhance their cultural awareness. Educational Scholarships

Financial assistance to promising high school seniors pursuing higher education.

Girls & Boys Youth Enrichment Program

Periodic programs and seminars to provide guidance and assist in personal, educational, and emotional growth of pre-teens and teens, boys and girls 12-18.

Debutante Cotillion

A formal benefit affair featuring young women making their formal entrance into society.

Literary Luncheons

The literary works of African American authors are showcased to promote reading and literacy among our adults and youth. Authors are invited to share the “story behind the story” in a way that inspires the guests and increases readership.

Health Care Awareness

PTK, Inc. partners with local hospitals, outreach centers, and health care professionals to conduct events supporting the needy and educating the community on health related issues.

Economic Development

Informational seminars offered by professionals in the financial and banking industry help individuals increase their ability to effectively plan and manage their finances.
